Students who have not yet submitted their application for graduation must do so before they will be able to participate in commencement.
The commencement ceremony, originally scheduled for May 16, 2020 has been postponed to an upcoming date during the fall 2020 semester. We didn't want to cancel this joyous occasion where we gather to celebrate this very important milestone.
The conferring of degrees and college certificates, and the awarding of honors highlight the commencement exercises. Students receiving associate degrees or college certificates of 15 credits or more are expected to participate in the commencement.
Cap & Gown
Cap and gowns are required graduation attire and can be purchased at the WCC Bookstore (734-973-3594). If you are borrowing a gown, purchase a tassel at the bookstore so that you can have the correct year on your tassel.
Honor Cords
Honor cords (for those with a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher) can be purchased. Please visit the Student Connection (734-973-3543) to obtain your cord. You will have to pay at the Cashier for the cord.
Ceremony Rehearsal
