In this course, students will be introduced to the components and usage of portable sound systems for live events. Students will be required to practice sound set-up and application of course skills in one or more live performances outside of class. This course may be beneficial for artists and event managers who want to gain a basic understanding of sound systems or those wishing to pursue a career in live sound. The title of this course was previously Sound Reinforcement for Stage. This course was previously MUS 248.
